How to register for Mobile Banking of IDBI Bank online?

IDBI Bank has recently started mobile banking service. The service is free of cost to its customers. But one has to register for this service to avail it. Upon registration and validation from bank, one can use number of services via mobile phone. This will not only save time and effort but helps you to avoid using internet banking on your PC.

There are 2 ways to register for mobile banking.

Way 1

Visit your IDBI Bank branch with this filled form and submit there. You may also get this form from branch itself.

Way 2

Do it online, for which we’ve explained the steps below with screenshots.

Step 1

Visit the official website of IDBI Bank and login to your Net Banking account.

Step 2

On successfully login to your account, you’ll get a link as “Register for Mobile Banking” on middle-left side of the screen; something like this.

Step 3

The next screen will be something like this.

Here, just click on “Generate OTP” button. You’ll get One Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile phone number. Enter that OTP on the screen and click on Submit button.

Step 4

The next screen will ask for your Customer ID and Transaction Password as shown below.

On successfully submitting your customer id and transaction password, you will get confirmation message on screen. Now, wait for 3 working days. You’ll receive an email and SMS for successful registration within 3 working days.

Step 5

On receipt of SMS/Email intimation, follow the below mentioned steps to generate password Online.
Step 5a: Visit our website from your desktop and select ‘Set Password’ for Net & Mobile Banking.
Step 5b: Validate your Account Number and Debit Card Credentials on the secure web page.
Step 5c: Enable (or Disable) your preferred Mobile Access Channel i.e. Browser, SMS etc.
Step 5d: Select from any of the three access rights i.e. View Access only/Full Transaction Access/Restricted Transaction Mode. Restricted Transaction Mode consists of limited options like Account based Inquiries, Self accounts Funds Transfer, Bill Payments and Recharge options only.
Step 5e: Set your Password for the Mobile Access Channels you have opted for in Step 3.
Type the following link on your mobile internet browser and enter your Login credentials to access Mobile Banking services.

    I am account holder of your bank and having 2 accounts 1 is salary and 2nd on is saving. I am not able to access both account atm services single atm card due to only showing saving account in other than IDBI Atm so I was visited new market IDBI branch and gave the request for close my saving account before 1.5 years but account still active and I got massage for some amount penalty due to less than 5000 and again visited branch and again gave request but executive said deposit first penalty amount than we process than after I called call centre number but they dined. Pls help to me and close my saving acount and waive off all penalty.
    I am using your service since Dec 2017.
    if you are not able to help me I will closed both accounts.
