Obtaining an ISBN: You can order an ISBN (and bar code) for your Kindle books online at https://www.myidentifiers.com/. You’ll be asked to enter or upload various information like a copy of the e-book and cover, a description, pricing, rights and your contact information.
Writing a catchy book description: The description is very important as users will surely read it before they make any decision. The description should not be very large and must be written in to-the point to attract customers.
Setting pricing: One important thing to know here. Many famous books on Kindle are priced at $0.99 and millions are buying them at that price. You are free to set any price of your book but keep the trend in your mind. Secondly, visit the kindle store and look at the prices of other books under your category.
Setting royalty: You’ve 2 options to set your royalty of book – 35% or 70%. If you select the 35 percent royalty option, your royalty will be 35 percent of your list price for each unit sold. If you select the 70 percent royalty option, your royalty will be 70 percent of the list price (but if we sell at a lower price to match a competitor’s price for a digital or physical edition of the book or our price for a physical edition of the book, you will receive 70 percent of our sale price) for each book sold to customers in the Available Sales Territories, net delivery costs, and 35 percent of the list price for each unit sold to other customers.

Marketing your Kindle book: This step needs your more time and patience. You can create author page at https://authorcentral.amazon.com/gp/landing?ie=UTF8&ref_=ntt_atc_dp_pel_1 to give information about yourself online to others. Make separate Facebook page for e-book and start tweeting on twitter. Spread info on other social media sites also. Inform all your friends, relatives and colleagues about your work and ask for honest feedback and suggestions.
