1.Franklin Asian Equity Fund announces dividend

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has announced dividend at Rs 0.974 per unit under Franklin Asian Equity Fund-D and Franklin Asian Equity Fund Direct-D. The record date has been fixed as November 15, 2013.



2.Principal Mutual Fund announces change in two schemes

Principal Mutual Fund has announced that the Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) facility shall be available under Principal Cash Management Fund and Principal Retail Money Manager Fund post 3 pm effective 13 November 2013. Investors/unitholders can opt to invest a specified amount subject to a minimum of six instalments of Rs 500 each. The cut-off timing provisions as disclosed in SID and applicable for the transaction in the schemes shall also be applicable for investment(s) made in the schemes through SIP facility.

3.Mutual funds step up selling

Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 192.60 crore on Friday, 8 November 2013, higher than net outflow of Rs 91.30 crore on Thursday, 7 November 2013.
The net outflow of Rs 192.60 crore on Friday, 8 November 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 260.30 crore and gross sales of Rs 452.90 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had shed 156.62 points or 0.75% to settle at 20,666.15 on that day, its lowest closing level since 28 October 2013. Mutual funds have sold shares worth a net Rs 891.50 crore in November 2013 so far (till 8 November 2013).
