1.Axis Fixed Term Plan-Series 41 (546 Days) extends NFO closing date. NFO will now close on 04 October 2013

Axis Mutual Fund has announced that the closing date of the New Fund Offer (NFO) of Axis Fixed Term Plan-Series 41 (546 Days), a close ended debt scheme, has been extended from 03 October 2013 to 04 October 2013.

2.Baroda Pioneer MIP: Dividend Declaration

Baroda Pioneer Mutual Fund has announced dividend under the quarterly dividend option of Baroda Pioneer MIP-DQ. The quantum of dividend shall be Rs 0.2 per unit. The record date has been fixed as October 07, 2013.

3.Morgan Stanley Short Term Bond Fund: Change in Exit Load

The exit load under Morgan Stanley Short Term Bond Fund is being revised with effect from October 1, 2013. Earlier the fund used to charge an exit load of 0.50% for investments redeemed on or before the expiry of 3 months from the date of allotment. Now it has been revised to an exit load of 0.50% for redemption made on or before the expiry of 6 months from the date of allotment.

4.Mutual funds continue buying

Mutual funds (MFs) bought shares worth Rs 97.50 crore on Friday, 27 September 2013, higher than net inflow of Rs 62.30 crore on Thursday, 26 September 2013.
The net inflow of Rs 97.50 crore on Friday, 27 September 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 482.20 crore and gross sales of Rs 384.80 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had tumbled 166.58 points or 0.84% to settle at 19,727.27 on that day, its lowest closing level since 6 September 2013. Mutual funds have sold shares worth a net Rs 2803.60 crore in September 2013 so far (till 27 September 2013).
