What to do if you lost your Aadhaar card enrollment slip?

I’ve already written article on how to check the status of your aadhaar card and how to download your aadhaar card online. In both the ways, you will surely need your aadhaar enrollment slip, which you get at the time of visiting your aadhaar enrollment centre.

You can check both the articles at:

and

I’m getting hundreds of comments in those articles from those who have lost their enrollment slip and in that absence they can neither check the status of their aadhaar card nor can download it online.

So, let’s see what all options you have in that situation:

The UIDAI has set up a Contact Centre.

First try to contact them.

Phone/Voice – 1800-300-1947
Fax – 080-2353 1947
Letters – PO Box 1947, GPO Bangalore – 560001
Email[email protected]

Other contact details can be found at http://uidai.gov.in/contact-us.html

If that fails, you can seek your aadhaar card related information using Right to Information (RTI). You may get details for the same from http://uidai.gov.in/rti.html
