1.Peerless Fixed Maturity Plan Series 1 – 2 Files Offer Document with Sebi. A close ended debt scheme

Peerless Mutual Fund has filed offer document with Sebi to launch Peerless Fixed Maturity Plan Series 1 – 2, a close ended debt scheme. The New Fund Offer price is Rs 10 per unit. Investment objective: The primary investment objective of the Plan(s) of the scheme is to generate returns by investing in a portfolio of debt and money market securities which mature on or before the date of maturity of the Plan(s) of the scheme. Under the scheme, the mutual fund proposes to offer 2 Plans of tenure ranging between 30 days and 500 days from the date of allotment of the respective Plans (including the date of allotment).

2.Indiabulls Income Fund Floats on – NFO Period is from 12 February to 26 February 2013

Indiabulls Mutual Fund has launched a new fund named as Indiabulls Income Fund, an open ended debt scheme. The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme is Rs 10 per unit. The new issue will be open for subscription from 12 February and will close on 26 February 2013. The scheme re-opens within 5 days from the date of allotment. 

Investment objective: The primary investment objective of the Scheme is to generate a steady stream of income and/or medium to long term capital appreciation/gain through investment in fixed income securities. 
Options: Growth and dividend option. The Dividend Option has the following Facilities: Dividend Reinvestment Facility (available for monthly, quarterly, half yearly frequency) Dividend Pay-out Facility (available for monthly, quarterly, half yearly frequency)

3.Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund announces dividend under two schemes

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has announced 22 February 2013 as the record date for declaration of dividend under the following schemes. The amount of dividend on the face value of Rs 10 per unit will be: 

Franklin Templeton Fixed Tenure Fund – Series XV (FTFTF-XV) -Dividend Option: 
Individuals & HUF-Rs 0.484 per unit 
Others-Rs 0.415 per unit 
Franklin Templeton Fixed Tenure Fund – Series XVI (FTFTF-XVI) -Dividend Option: 
Individuals & HUF-Rs 0.396 per unit 
Others-Rs 0.339 per unit

4.Mutual funds continue selling. Outflow of Rs 110.60 crore on 11 February 2013

Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 110.60 crore on Monday, 11 February 2013, higher than outflow of Rs 109.60 crore on Friday, 8 February 2013. 

The net outflow of Rs 110.60 crore on Monday, 11 February 2013, was a result of gross purchases Rs 384.90 crore and gross sales Rs 495.40 crore. The BSE Sensex had shed 24.20 points or 0.12% to settle at 19,460.57 on that day, its lowest closing level since 31 December 2012. 
Mutual funds have sold shares worth net Rs 1472.40 crore in February 2013 so far (till 11 February 2013).
