1.LIC Nomura Mutual Fund launches LIC Nomura MF RGESS Series 1. NFO period will be from 09 February to 25 February 2013

LIC Nomura Mutual Fund today launched its Rajiv Gandhi Equity Saving Scheme (RGESS) Series 1, a close ended equity tax advantage savings scheme for equity investors in India. The scheme offers tax benefits under Section 80 CCG, over and above the tax rebate offered under Section 80 C of the IT Act, 1961.Under the scheme, an individual with an income of up to Rs 10 lakhs would get tax incentives for investing up to Rs 50,000. 

The New Fund Offer (NFO) will open for subscription on February 9, 2013 and close on February 25, 2013. The units will be available at par (Rs.10/-) during the NFO and at NAV related prices thereafter. The scheme will not be open for subscription on an ongoing basis.




2.Franklin India Prima Plus announces dividend. Record date for dividend is 15 February 2013

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has announced 15 February 2013 as the record date for declaration of dividend under the dividend plan and direct-dividend option of Franklin India Prima Plus. The amount of dividend will be Rs 3 per unit under plan/option on the face value of Rs 10 per unit.



3.Reliance Quant Plus: Dividend Declaration

Reliance Mutual Fund has announced dividend under the dividend option of Reliance Quant Plus .The quantum of dividend shall be Re.1 (10%). The last dividend was declared in March 2011 of 25%. The record date has been fixed as February 15, 2013.
