1.BNP Paribas India Consumption Fund files offer document with Sebi.

BNP Paribas Mutual Fund has filed offer document with Sebi to launch BNP Paribas India Consumption Fund, an open ended equity scheme. The New Fund Offer price is Rs. 10 per unit. The scheme offers growth and dividend option. The scheme shall invest 75% to 100% of assets in equity and equity related instruments with medium to high risk profile. On the other side it would invest upto 25% of assets in debt and money market instruments and / or units of liquid funds with low risk profile.

2.Reliance Retirement Fund files offer document with Sebi.

Reliance Mutual Fund has filed offer document with Sebi to launch Reliance Retirement Fund, an open end notified tax savings cum pension scheme. The scheme will get tax benefit (upto Rs. 1 Lakh) as a Notified Pension Fund U/S 80C of Income Tax Act 1961. The New Fund Offer price is Rs. 10 per unit. The scheme will have 2 plans: (Both the plans will have separate portfolio)

1. Wealth Creation Plan 
2. Income Generation Plan. 
The above plans will have Growth Plan & Dividend Plans respectively as specified below:
A) Growth Plan: Growth Option & Bonus Option
B) Dividend Plan: Dividend Payout Option & Dividend Reinvestment Option

3.Top level meeting to discuss on the Mutual Fund industry on July 2.

Mumbai based Federation of Independent Financial Advisors (FIFA) will join representatives from SEBI, AMFI and 10 top CEOs in a meeting with Finance Ministry officials to discuss various issues concerning the Mutual Fund industry. Expectedly, industry officials are likely to urge the finance ministry officials to allow Rajiv Gandhi Equity Saving Scheme (RGESS) to be routed through mutual funds.

4.RBI to open up bond market to smaller firms.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will introduce a Web-based bond trading platform on Monday that can be accessed by any entity interested in trading sovereign paper, opening up the government bond market to small institutions.

Peerless Mutual Fund has declared dividend under the Monthly Dividend Option for Retail & Super Institutional Plan of Peerless Ultra Short Term Fund (an open ended debt scheme). The record date for dividend was 29 June 2012. The gross dividend was Rs. 0.0882 per unit for Retail Plan and Rs.0.0989 per unit for Super Institutional Plan for the respective Monthly Dividend Option, as on the record date. Dividend is being declared on the face value of Rs. 10/- per unit.

Peerless Mutual Fund has declared dividend under the Monthly Dividend Option of Peerless Income Plus Fund (an open ended debt scheme). The record date for dividend was 29 June 2012. The gross dividend was Rs. 0.0700 per unit for Monthly Dividend Option as on the record date. Dividend is being declared on the face value of Rs. 10/- per unit. The Ex-NAV of Peerless Income Plus Fund Monthly Dividend option as on 29 June 2012, is Rs. 10.2722, after considering the Dividend Payout and statutory levies, if any.

Peerless Mutual Fund has declared dividend under the Monthly Dividend Option for Retail & Super Institutional Plan of Peerless Liquid Fund (an open ended Liquid scheme). The record date for dividend was 29 June 2012. The gross dividend was Rs. 0.0755 per unit for Retail Plan and Rs.0.0933 per unit for Super Institutional Plan for the respective Monthly Dividend Option as on the record date. Dividend is being declared on the face value of Rs. 10/- per unit.

8.Reliance MF Floats Reliance Fixed Horizon Fund – XXII – Series 14.

Reliance Mutual Fund has launched a new fund named as Reliance Fixed Horizon Fund – XXII – Series 14, a close ended income scheme with the duration of 366 days from the date of allotment. During the New Fund Offer (NFO) the scheme will offer units at Rs. 10 per unit. The new issue will be open for subscription from 3 July and will close on 5 July 2012.
