NEW FUND OFFER
1.Canara Robeco Fixed Maturity Plan – Series 7 – (Plan A & Plan B) files offer document with SEBI.
Canara Robeco Mutual Fund has filed offer document with SEBI to launch Canara Robeco Fixed Maturity Plan – Series 7 – (Plan A & Plan B), close ended fixed maturity debt scheme. The plans will have tenures as following: Plan A: 367 Days and Plan B: 396 Days. The New Fund Offer price is Rs 10 per unit.

2.MFs asset base increases marginally in February.
The gradually reviving equity markets helped the mutual fund industry AUM climb 2.4 per cent in the month of February. According to data on the AMFI Web site, the total assets under management (AUM) of the industry stood at Rs 6.75 lakh crore at the end of February 2012.
At end January the total AUM was Rs 6.59 lakh crore. However, the month-on-month increase in the AUM from December 2011 to January 2012 was to the tune of Rs 47,751 crore or 7.8 per cent. On a year-on-year basis, the AUM was down 4.6 per cent.

NEW FUND LAUNCH
Tata Mutual Fund launched a new close ended income fund called "Tata Fixed Maturity Plan Series 39 Scheme F (380 Days)", with maturity period of 380 days. The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme was Rs 10 per unit. The NFO opened for subscription on March 9, and will close on March 14, 2012. According to the offer document filed with SEBI, the entry load and exit load was nil.
The minimum application amount was Rs 10,000. Two options were available under the Plan of the Scheme viz. Growth and dividend payout option. The performance of the scheme will be standardized against Crisil Short Term Bond Fund Index and Murthy Nagaraja will be the Fund Managers for the scheme.

4.Tata Fixed Maturity Plan Series 39 Scheme J Floats On.
Tata Mutual Fund has launched a new fund named as Tata Fixed Maturity Plan Series 39 Scheme J, a close-ended debt scheme with the duration of 749 days from the date of allotment. The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme is Rs. 10 per unit. The new issue will be open for subscription from 13 March and closes on 14 March 2012.
