1.Private equity funds raked in $11.2 billion in April-June: Preqin.

Real estate-focused private equity funds raised USD 11.2 billion from investors in the April-June period of 2011, 26 per cent more than in the January-March quarter, says a report. According to a study by research firm Preqin, 18 private equity funds dedicated to the real estate raised an aggregate $11.2 billion in the second quarter of 2011 as compared to $8.9 billion in the previous quarter. The June quarter mop-up was much higher than the $7.1 billion raised in the fourth quarter of 2010.



2.Deutsche MF Launches DWS Fixed Term Fund – Series 86.


Deutsche Mutual Fund has launched a new fund named as DWS Fixed Term Fund – Series 86, 250 days close ended debt fund. The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme is Rs. 10 per unit. The new issue will be open for subscription from 11 July and close on 13 July 2011.
