  1. Hunt around, speak to many insurance brokers and take the best you can afford. Nobody has a clue about the financial future, so, do keep an eye out, for chances.
    Peace.

  2. One that doesn’t include insurance. If you compared two piles of money invested the same exact way, the pile that doesn’t have the cost of insurance deducted monthly will always be bigger during her lifetime. The other pile only gets bigger at her death, so what exactly is HER goal?

  3. retirement plan through insurance wont give much benifit . it cant even beat inflation. real return from insurance will be maximum 1-2%
so its better to plan the retirement throgh mutual fund sip (if ready to take risk). otherwise plan retirement by investing in fixed deposit (low risk ) every month

  4. Dear Madam,

According to your information, Your Sister has 8 more years of service (ie pension age 55 – 47= 8).
That means, She has 8 years of regular income. thus she could pay the premium without fail for next 8 years.

The best plan for her would be Metlife Monthly Income Plan.(7 Year Pay).
(ie Pay a regular premium for 7 years …wait for 3 more years. From 11th year onwards you will be elegible for getting a guaranteed Monthly Income for next 15 years. At the end of the pOLICY tERM, YOU WILL GET AN AMOUNT AS MATURITY BENEFIT I…ie at her 64th age)

Go to the following link to get the plan details.

  5. AVOID INSURANCE POLICIES.

INVEST IN a COMBINATION OF PPF WITH NEAREST SBI BRANCH. and SIP in a HDFC BALANCED FUND.

By investing in insurance plans , you are only limiting your pension.
