Multiple Listing Service
Multiple Listing Service (MLS): Association of real estate Brokers who agree to share Listings with one another. The listing broker and the selling broker share the Commission. The MLS usually distributes a book with all listings to its members, updating it frequently. Prospective buyers benefit from the ability to select from among many homes from any member broker
Multiple listing service- a list of all homes that are for sale.

Multiple Listing Service. It’s a pool of available listings. The broker pays a fee to access full details.
Generally it means Multiple Listing Service. It is a data base generally controlled by cooperating brokers who generally are Realtors. Only Realtors enjoy access to the MLS, real estate agents are not permitted access unless they agree to the local Realtor Board’s rules and join. There is some contention on this issue related to potential anti-trust issues. This and other ethical considerations are why I refuse to be a Realtor.
