From past 1yr, AUD has risen from the levels of Rs.46 to Rs.58 at present. What is the reason behind this and hows the future trend ?

  1. Because they are both fiat currencies with no physical backing. Therefore their value is determined by peoples confidence in the economic policies of their respective governments. Currency traders have more faith in the economic policies of the Australian government than they do in the economic policies of the Indian government so the Australian Dollar rises against the Indian Rupee.

    If the broker sees more “opportunity” he books dollar buy order in Australian Dollar. Nothing serious.
    Even Pakistani Rupee had some ” wrong” sell orders when INR was not fast falling Vs USD.
