What is time limit for buying new flat?

I did some miscalculation and submitted Self Assessment Tax using Challan 280 online. Now I realize I have to pay Rs 500 more as tax for the same assessment year.
Can I submit another Challan 280 for the additional tax of Rs 500?
Or is there any other way to do it? ..suggestions welcome

I had bought a house for which I paid EMI and sold that house after clearing all the dues. I got the IT saving certificate and claimed the benefits till the month of sale. I then bought another house taking loan and got provisional tax saving certificate. When this was submitted the earlier benefit for the first house was disallowed.
One of my Friend was getting huge incomes in form of commission, apart from his regular salary income, for which he has provided his PAN number and the payer is also deducting TDS for the same, but he is not willing to disclose this income what will happen? will the IT departement track him? We had a single floor house. My father planned to make first floor & made a gift deed to me. My brother is a lawyer & he drafted another gift deed & my father signed on it where it is written Ground Floor + 40% of First Floor + First Floor Roof Right.
My question is when my father already gifted the first floor then the same property can he gift again. If it all he does it without knowing , how to sort out the issue?
