On death of Mutual fund member, there was a insurance with the fund manager (reliance) and the claim is provided as shares,I wish to know this return along with the transfer of the balance fund attracts any income tax in India.
MY FRIEND IS AN EMPLOYEE OF FOOD CORPORATION OF INDIA , NAGPUR . AN AMOUNT OF RS. 191000/- WAS DIRECTLY PAID BY FCI TO THE HOSPITAL FOR HIS HEART TREATMENT RECENTLY.
BUT, AS HE WAS COVERED FOR AN AMOUNT OF RS. 200000/- TOWARDS A CRITICAL ILLNESS FROM BAJAJ ALLIANZ LIFE INSURANCE CO. , HE RECEIVED THE CLAIM AMOUNT SUBSEQUENTLY.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE TAX TREATMENT TO BE GIVEN FOR THIS CLAIM PROCEEDS FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY. SOME OF MY FREINDS OPINED THAT THIS PROCEEDS WOULD NOT BE TERMED AS INCOME OF THE ASSESE
my F.D.R.was matured . due to some family reasons I was shifted to other town and was not renewed the FDR meanwhile I informed bank about cahange of adress.according to bank my money transfered in investors education fund and they say they informed on my old adress.when I asked why so / no one is ready to answer. every one say contact this and that .
I received a letter from lok adalath saying there is a outstanding amount of 98374 rupees in HSBC bank. but i have not taken any loan from that bank. they told to come and meet at 17/01/2011 11:30 to 4:00 pm at deputy registrar 2nd floor civil court complex behind cauvery bhavan bangalore. what i have to do now please help me.
after 5 pm the Indian banks are closed and if i send money from usa to some indian bank account then will that money be received ?
i m giving some amount to my son (age above 19) on weekly basis as pocket money. Son invests that amount in bank FDs and earns interest on it. i would like to know to whose total income the interest earnings will be added for tax purpose…?
the result was published on the bank’s site on 5th nov. i have not received the appointment letter so far.

I am a negotiating banker. I received a discrepent document and sent the same to the issuing bank on collection as the documents are discrepent. Now my client has rectified the discrepencies and
is presenting another set of documents complete in all respects without any discrepencies within the last date for negotiation even though the earlier set of documents were already received by the issuing bank and is yet to point out any discrepency.
Can I negotiate this second set?
My Cheque has been returned unrealized with the reason – DRAWERS SIGNATURE TO OPERATE A/C NOT RECEIVED.
