If my repayment period is 10 years, but I pay the loan back in 8 years, will I get interest advantage for the reduced capital?
Say, I held a savings account with a bank XYZ. After a period, I decided to close the account. Now, someone sends a cheque (bank check) to me to the above mentioned closed account with Bank XYZ. Can I talk to the manager and explain him the situation and get the cash in hand? Or can I write a requisition letter asking them to deposit the same in another active bank account?
What is time frame to save capital gain tax either by way of deposit in bank or bonds. Upto which period sale proceeds have to be reinvested in housing. What is the best option. My husband who is retired already owns a house where in v r living.
All ULIP money is transferred to Mutual Funds as per the NAV. Is it right that you may withdraw the money whenever you like as per NAV on that day of withdrawal or the account seizes after completion of the 10 or 15 years period.
The best way to plan for retirement is to start saving as soon you start working. The power of compounding works in your favor. Save in all the asset classes, specially equity as it gives good returns over a long term period. Start saving with small amount and be a disciplined investor. Never tinker with your retirement funds until and unless absolute necessary.
