If a married woman gets her name on her PAN card changed to her married surname, but continues to use her old PAN card with her maiden surname also, is that a crime? I have my bank account in my maiden surname and wanted to open a recurring deposit with an ECS from the same account. Since most of my ID proofs have been converted to my married name, he asked me for a copy of my old PAN card with my maiden surname on it. If I do that, will it be legal?
