donee have not transferred the property in their name hence acceptance is not complete. is the donor then the lawful owner of the property today?
i m planning to purchase a open plot from my mother in law by registering a sale deed to my name, i want to know that in future my brother in law have a right to claim on prorety b’coz earlier it was name of my mother in law, pls suggest me whether it is safe to purchase property from parents
Related to that, after receiving the property, who is the owner of this property, I get all rights like regular purchased property? in future can I sell gifted property?

My friend was talked into adding her boyfriend to her deed and creating a joint tenancy. He makes no payments and has no equity in the property.
