  1. Well it’s your choice, if you want to give tips or not. Tips are given because customers are satisfied with the service. If you are not satisfied, like for example, you waited 30 mins. just for a french fries, or you feel like going out early because the restaurant is not so tidy, then why should you give tips?

  2. It’s not mandatory that you should give tips. Anyway if you are kind enough to give that money to the server who served you, you can give it.

  3. No not necessary, once we have paid the service tax that also it means we are paying tips. when the manager generate bills, he put all the service man name who helped to service, i mean they have ID’s it directly goes in their account. it doesnt show in the bill.
That’s it, so dont pay, if u have paid service tax.

  4. Its up to u. vat and service tax don’t go to the waiter they go to the govt. if u r genuinely pleased by his behaviour and service then pay. but its not compulsory.

  5. Its ur choice , if u like the service of the people u make them or else leave it . . .

normally tips from credit card would be spitted into average calculation among all staff
