  1. ya SBI mutual fund is the investment company.SBI MF is join venture with one MNC company in UK.But SBI bank is the banking sector its the bank.(.State bank of INDIA)

  2. SBI Mutual investment schemes –

These are the Mutual funds offered by the State Bank of India Mutual fund House. They have a number of MF schemes like SBI Comma Fund, SBI Magnum Mid cap fund etc.. There are many MFs.

It is a joint venture between State Bank of India—one of India’s largest banking enterprises—and Société Générale Asset Management (France)—one of the world’s leading fund management companies.

SBI Mutual Fund was founded with a vision:

“To reach out to the smallest of the small investor and provide them with alternate investment options to help achieve their financial goals.”

In case you want to know more about Mutual funds…
A mutual fund is simply a financial intermediary that allows a group of investors to pool their money together with a predetermined investment objective. The mutual fund will have a fund manager who is responsible for investing the pooled money into specific securities (usually stocks or bonds). When you invest in a mutual fund, you are buying shares (or portions) of the mutual fund and become a shareholder of the fund.

Mutual funds are one of the best investments ever created because they are very cost efficient and very easy to invest in (you don’t have to figure out which stocks or bonds to buy).

    SBI Accounts:

These are the normal bank accounts (savings, current accounts etc..) that you can open with any bank. In this case the bank is state bank of India.

  3. sbi mutual fund – is a investment company who collects the money from public & invest in securoties (share or debentures 0r bonds OR in shares +debentures)
