Pension and gratuity?



I had joined govt of India service in sep 1984 as a post of senior pharmacist I resigned not under voluntary retirement scheme but just resigned by giving three months notice in the year Dec 2002 I was only paid my G.P.F contribution which I made and nothing else when I asked the department about my gratuity and about my pension they replied I quit the service so I am not eligible for any benefits can anyone help me out if I am eligible for anything and how to proceed at present I am working abroad

  1. WHERE YOU HAVE WORKED ?.HOW MANY YEARS YOU HAVE SERVED AS A SR. PHARMACIST.?WHAT REASON YOU HAVE GIVEN IN WRITIANY OTHERUR OFFICE TO RESIGN? HAVE YOU JOINED ANYOTHER SERVICE AFTER RESIGNATION FRO THE POST OF SR.PHARMACIST?IN WHICH PAY SCALE YOU HAVE WORKED?WHAT IWAS YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION?
    GIVE ANSWERS TO ALL THESE QUESTIONS AND ONLY THEN YOU CAN BE HELPED.YOU HAVE PUT A VERY VAGUE QUESTION WHICH IS INCOMPLETE AND DOES NOT SERVE THE PURPOSE OF LAW?


  2. If you had served for 20 yrs then you are entitled for pension,gratuity will depend upon prevailing rules at that time.Admiral V K Singh
