If I earn a commission for sale of property or goods, is it considered to be black money?



I am an individual and I do not have a registered company, I just help buyers and sellers meet. I earn a certain commission in this process which sometimes goes to few lakhs, is this commission taxable?

  1. Yes the commission you earn is taxable. If you, have proper accounts, recording all related transactions and are paying the tax due, disclosing your correct income filing Income tax returns, then the money you have, cannot be called black money.
