if i am working in a bank then can i simultaneously indulge myself in stock market trading and what if i do a trading of more than 40 lakhs in a financial year.please give genuine answer.

  1. you can do trading as an investor client,not as a professional trader for others.
    you can trade as per your capacity.
    on trading more than 40lacs,for income tax purpose ,auditing of your accounts is required .



  2. dude even CEOs are allowed to buy stocks there is no rule that you cant invest. however if you are priveleged to info check with the SEC and ask them you have to follow the rules that insiders follow. most likely if you were in a possition like that youd already know the answer but if you dont know ask. not the south eastern conference either im mean the securities and exchange commission the have rules for insider trade like you have to report it to them a month in advance or what not they will tell you what to do.


  3. No problem so long as you don’t neglect your office work.

    Regarding the forty lakhs, please understand the following. If the forty lakh is a gain, then you have to pay capital gains tax on it. (short term capital gains if you held it for less than a year). If it is tradde volume (and not profit), then also the same thing.
