We are hindu family residing in tamilnadu.my grandfather’s property has been partitioned by my father and his 4 brothers after my grand father’s death in 1972.And now the patitioned share of my father is enjoyed by himself till now.My father is still alive.i have a sister too.we also got married and we too have issues.Now whether me and my sister will get right in that property or atleast our kids get the right over that property,considering that as an ancestral property?

  1. Your father’s share is in his possession from 1972. Now you your sister and your mother will be legal heir to your father’s property and all of you three will have right over the property after your father’s life time. Consult a Lawyer.
