i have lic polcy jivan sarl for 30yrs can i surrender after 10 yrs and what is amt recivied i invest 1000 emi?

In my opinion, It doesn't make any sense to surrender an LIC policy as far as i understand you will get only the 30% of the premium paid by you excluding the first year's premium though this clause might slightly differ from policy to policy.

  1. If you want to surrender Jeevan Saral, you have two options available with you:

    1. Complete Surrender: The surrender value will be the greater of the guaranteed surrender value and special surrender. The plan also allows for partial surrenders.

Guaranteed Surrender Value: The policy can be surrendered after it has been in force for at least 3 full years. The Guaranteed Surrender value will be equal to 30% of the total amount of premiums paid excluding the premiums for the first year

Special Surrender Value: 100% of the Maturity Sum Assured, if 5 or more years’ premiums have been paid.

    2. Partial Surrender : Any number of partial withdrawals through partial surrendering after 10 years.

Thus, you do not loose anything if you surrender your policy after paying premiums for 5 years continuously.
