How much would it cost for a tourist to get insulin in Australia from a chemist?

I will be traveling there, and I intend to get insurance, but that might only cover emergencys. Any advise? Anyone?

  1. Prescriptions in Australia cost between $20 and $100 each. I have no idea of the cost of insulin, but would expect the price to be reasonable. There should be no problem getting the prescription filled in any Australian city.

Make sure you bring a valid prescription from home and, if possible, a letter from you doctor outlining your condition.
