  1. 50 square feet is pretty small—-but its not really a matter of size—-its the potential for traffic—I have seen ATMs stuffed in pretty small spots—but there is all ready a good flow of traffic for other items…Usually they scout locations and come to you–but you are free to get phone numbers off others machines and inquire,,. Most machines are placed by third parties—-bank owned machines are only placed in the best locations…Is their a market for phone cards ? What are you selling in this shop and where is it ? I may have ideas….contact me through my profile.

  2. This is plenty of space for an ATM. We have installed outdoor ATM (wall mount) on the exterior wall of a 5’x5′ utility closets. The key with an ATM is foot traffic. If you have lots of foot traffic – you’ll have lots of transactions – which will lead to lots of surcharges (money). There are two basic types (1) indoor – floor mounted made for light traffic these units cost around 3k installed – and (2) wall mounted all weather units – generally build for higher traffic which cost around 8k installed. Let me know if you have additional questions about ATMs
