  1. margin required to buy nifty future ( 1 lot = 50 qty) is rs 28000/- when nifty is 5620. and for other question is that you will make profit of rs 5000 as a gross profit but as you need to pay a brokerage and tax. deducting that you would make a net profit. the below answer is wrong as you do not need to pay this much tax. only minimal tax is paid like 0.005% and even if you pay a brokerage of 0.05% both side then brokerage would be 500 rs and tax would near to 100 still you would make a profit of 4400 rs

let’s say if you buy nifty and for 5000 and sold it for 5100 and you get rs.100 per share and you have lot of 50 so you get straight forward 5000 but that’s your gross profit from that you have to deduct tax and brokerage let’s say that is 0.5% so when you bought shares at that time and also at the time of selling of share you have to pay tax.
    purchase price 5000*50 = 250000 on that tax i.e. 1250
    sell price 5100*50 = 255000 on that tax i.e. 1275
    5000-2525 = 2475 is net profit
