I live in the US and own property in India with joint ownership with my parents and my brother. I want to give my parents the power of attorney to sell the property. What is the procedure for doing so while living in the US?

  1. You’ll have to contact a solicitor in India for the answer to that question. A PofA that meets US legal requirements may well be worse than useless in India.


  2. You have to go to the Notary Office and they are going to stamp the papers.then you have to varify it to the government.Notary Officer is going to give you all the information you need.
