  1. hay it will be at the same price against doller after ellections it would be desided if congress win Rupee will appreciate if they loose rupee will depreciate


  2. I think the rupee may depreciate or will stay where it is now. My reasons are The government is in election mode and will have to go for populist measures to retain its vote base. Minorities will get a major chunk and Income taxes will give some benefit to the middle class. Any way appreciation of rupee against dollar is not a good sign as it weakens our exports and which in turn weakens our economy.


  3. rupee may not be depreciating from here on. Most of the experts feel that it would be range bound from 38.70 to 39.90 in the coming year.


  4. not only this budget but for like coming 5 years, re will keep on appreciating, and they levels to watch are 40 to 36.5…then 37 to 34, then 38 to 31. and finally it will settle around 18-21 band, cause thats what us wants, and then 20 will become part of life, making oil cheaper and exports expensive…and if that doesn’t happens, i will go bankrupt for sure,as i have short contracts.
