clarification regarding Power of attorney?

I hav property in Ghaziabad, UP. I am residing in UK (london) with my wife. I alone is planning to visit India to sell the property. Pls clarify the issues in power of attorney from my wife to be carried along..

  1. Power of Attorney is legally valid document to act on behalf of a principal. the acts covered in power of attorney can be executed by the Agent and it is accepted.

    you have to get the power of attorney from your wife and get it notarized by an officer not below the rank of Attache in the Indian Embassy at UK in all pages. That is valid and sufficient.

    you will not have any legal issues on this.
