Can a builder held registration even after getting 20% payment of original agreed price.?

builder is not ready for registration though 20% payment is done. They have increased the flat cost and forcing to agree with them.

  1. They can’t really force you to agree with them. If you refuse to sign anything new, they original contract will prevail. Your biggest problem will be if they go bankrupt you will likely lose the 20% and if they continue to refuse to perform on the contract it can be very expensive to force them to perform or get your $$$ back. I nonetheless wouldn’t sign anything new. Don’t throw good money after bad, right now you can’t lose more than the 20% you’ve paid.

  2. Just for 20% builder can not register the flat. But he can not demand more, if you have not violated the terms of agreement.
