Are child plans any different from the endowment plans (and in some cases a mix of Endowment + Term)?

All the plans I looked at have the same features more or less as any endowment plans with different options of repayment. Those which have double or triple benefit are essentially endowment + term, which is visible from the difference in premiums = premium of a term plan

  1. Avoid Child Plans. Have enough TERM COVER for yourself.

For INVESTMENT . , stick to a combination of PPF / SIP IN MUTUAL FUNDS / DIRECT EQUITY.

  2. Combine PPF with Anmol Jeevan / Amulya Jeevan. This combination, I think is the best and gives highest return, highest life cover, guaranteed by GOI, and more and hope is far better then any other single policy of LICI for any of your goal (except medical insurance and accident cover). I have provided a link below of my previous answers. Trust me you won’t have to lose any thing. All the policies of the insurance companies are actually scam draining the money from persons who are actually thinking that they are saving money.
