If  I need to invest say 2 lakhs in  kisan vikas patra, I need to give my PAN card details, should I pay the tax at the time of maturity?, if so how much I need to pay?, please advise me. many thanks.

The maturity amount of kisan vikas patra is taxable. However, the post office will not deduct TDS on maturity. The maturity amount will be added to your taxable income & you need to pay income tax as per your tax slab in that financial year.
