Yes, the policy will lapse and your risk-cover will also be cancelled i.e. no insurance cover for you. The company will pay the fund-value after 3 years to you.

But I STRONGLY suggest to continue this policy. This is one of the best ULIP in the industry. You can take this for your children's education, marriage or even your own retirement. It allows unlimited partial withdrawal. Increase / decrease premium etc. Very flexible product.
