I have booked the Flat in the year 2014 September with Marathon Nextown and deposited 20% of payment 9,74,211 and as due to finacial probelm and as also construction of our flat was not yet started so we decided to cancel the booking on August 2015 and got the refund amount as 7,36,771 this came as a shock. when we read the allotment letter it was mentioned that 5% of agreement value which is 47,48,799 which they didnt mention when we visited their office for discussion for cancellation. I really dont understand what should be the next step can we claim for our remaning money Please suggest me what to do

Did you read all the documents carefully before signing the agreement? If you've a copy of that, read it now to understand all the terms and conditions. Next step is to approach some good lawyer and file a case against the builder in consumer court or as suggested by lawyer. Hope it will help you. Admin
