Hi,

I have invested 3 years back in Sahara housing bond scheme around one ninty thousand rupees.

They promised after 15 years we will get 6 lakh rupees.  Recently, I came to know that Supreme Court has directed Sahara group to refund their money.

I want to know, how will I get my hard earned money back  invested in Sahara now?  I don't want to continue with Sahara any more ....Shara agents are forcing us to convert into other schemes.

Can you please suggest the way how do I get refeunded , whom should I apprach.....etc., neeed concretee information.

Many Thanks,

First of all, do NOT shift your money to any other scheme of Sahara whatsoever their agent suggests. The money will be returned to you via SEBI now. It will take some time but you'll get your money with interest.

Check here for more details:

I also searched Google and find soem relevant information for you, whcih states

In view of the above, the subscribers to the Bonds of SIRECL and SHICL are advised in their own interest:

1. To hold on to the original documents relating to their investments in the Bonds and to produce the same to SEBI when called for; and

2. Not to yeild to any pressure from any person, including Saharas or their agents, for converting or switching over their existing investments in the Bonds to any of their other schemes like Q Shop etc.

Please bring the details of any such instances to the notice of SEBI.
