I am 38 years old and we don't have any child. I am the only bread-earner. I have a housing loan liability of Rs.1350000 and a car loan of Rs.225000. I want to invest my income such that I get good pension if i plan to retire after 60years. I also want to save for my and my wife's future and for the future of my would-be children i.e their education to marriage. Kindly guide me and suggest a suitable investment plan.

First, take online term insurance plan to cover your loan liabilities. After that, start investing in equity diversified mutual funds + Gold + PPF in SIP way. Ofcourse, you need to increase your monthly budget for investments. Check more at http://www.investmentkit.com/articles/2011/01/saving-for-your-child%E2%80%99s-education/
