If you do not want a cheque for withdrawal the minimum deposit is Rs.500/- as of now. But that amount should be untouched. You can keep any amount leaving that Minimum balance of Rs.500. You can withdraw Rs.100/- at a time and Rs.15000/- at a time per day. These are the policies followed by almost all the Nationalized Banks and their ATMs.

Bank will issue ATM – cum- Debit card to all new account. What is minimum balance in the account will be decided by which type of account i.e. you want cheque book facility or not. In ATM you can draw to the extent of your available balance in the account, but the bank will charge penalty if balance fall below minimum balance.
