i entered the wrong pin 3 tyms….while using the card in pnb atm…nw it says…pin attempts exceeded ur card is blocked….wat shud i do…cz askin fer a new card costs 1000 rs…nd i dnt want tat plzz help

You’ll need to call the company. Be glad they have good anti-theft provisions in place to protect you.
Call the bank and they can reset the pin number. They will ask you some preset questions that you have already given them answers to in order to verify who you are.
Call the help numbers printed on your debit card. probably you will get a new card in place of blocked card and pay the charges as per rules. This fine you has to pay for forgetting your PIN. After paying the fine you will not dare to forget your PIN again.
This is the only way.
generally it is blocked for 24 hrs.after which PIN is automatically gets reset.
wait for a day,and use it again,but with right PIN.
i feel you are more likely to face this problem in future also,
as you don’t seem to remember spelling of the words as well.
Please go to your IDBI branch with a letter requesting them to activate your pin. I am sure, it will be activated in 2 days.
