No. Open a new account at SBI.
Close the old account at SBBJ and deposit the Balance in your new account by a personal visit.
If the amount is too large – open new account at SBI – and than deposit a self drawn cheque from SBBJ and deposit in SBI, /leaving a balance of Rs.1,000/- and aboveapproxx in SBBJ and than visit SBBJ close the account by self cashwithdrawall from that account. You have to give a written letter to SBBJ of your desire to close the account in view of your change in residence.
