    most of the time those ‘extra’ symbols on the keys are activated by holding down the ‘ctrl’ ( control key in lower left of keyboard) while hitting the key you want to have the symbol from. if that doesn’t work, try the function key and hold it down while hitting the $ ( this is the key that has not only the $ but the rupee) from what you said.

    that should work. if not, you could always go to the source and call Logitech. I have a few keyboards from them and they are great! their customer service is awesome. Online Order Support

    Well most users use graphical representation..means use pictures.
