Loan fof DDA Housing Scheme.

My son is working as a consultant with a private firm on contractual basis on package of Rs. 5 lack. The contract is renewable annually.

Can he avail the loan from banks & if yes how much.

He is a bachelor.

Banks give loan on number of criteria like minimum of 3 years ITR, good bank balance with transactions, paying capacity, existing loan, if any etc. Just collect all the ITR and bank related documents, and call your bank. I don't think there will be any problem, if he has 3 years ITR.

Start with the bank with whom he is maintaining his savings / current account.
