Any insurance plan will deduct number of charges on account of mortality charges, premium allocation charges, policy admin charges, taxes etc. On the other hand, FD rates are fixed and taxable. In other words, you can not compare ULIP with FD. Both of them have different features and investment criteria. Understand the basics of two before taking decision.
