Where to submit the proof of investments?

0 like 0 dislike
I have made investment in March 2011 for the financial year 2010-2011. I switched company in February 2011. I had submitted all the proofs till then to the previous company. But for the savings which I did in March, I could not submit to any company (neither current nor previous), though I had declared it in the current company. The current company has not deducted any tax for March 2011. The form 16 which they provided for FY 2010-2011 also does not mention anything about the savings. Now, when I file the tax returns, can I include the investment I made in March also? Do I need to submit the proof anywhere?

Yes, you can submit all your investment documents eligible under Sec80C for saving tax along with Form-16 while filling your ITR. You CA will also help you in that.

Hope it will help you.
